With a land base of 1.3 million hectares divided into 84 townships, the Hearst Forest Sustainable Forest License (SFL) 502800 has over 10 000 km2 of productive forest. Our forest is twice the size of Prince Edward Island and is one of the largest forests in Ontario.

With Lecours Lumber Co. Limited and Tembec Industries Inc. as it's major shareholders, Hearst Forest Management Inc. is a private company that has held the timber license on the Hearst Forest since 1986.
